This elegant lateral apartment, across three houses, sits within a listed building in Eaton Square designed by the Victorian master builder, Thomas Cubitt. Three adjoining floors were carefully combined to create one substantial family home, seamlessly updated to include state of the art systems for lighting, heating and audio-visual use. The project was implemented in close cooperation with the client, a long-standing and well-informed patron of the practice, and was conceived to closely reflect the needs and lifestyle of the family. The interiors reveal a particular emphasis on luxurious materials and exquisite finishes throughout, including brushed bronze panelling, embossed suede wall panels and Japanese-inspired doors in celadon and bronze. Form and function are sensitively combined within a home characterized by a luxurious sense of calm and warmth.
